This depends on what you like or dislike, the time of year you travel and perhaps where you have been before and what you liked or didn’t like. We are all human and all want different things when we travel so each honeymoon is looked at on an individual basis. Some of the most popular honeymoons are to the Maldives, Mauritius, Bali and Canada. My favourite honeymoon option (and one of the most popular) would be a beach and safari combination, because you get the best of both worlds: a chance to relax after the wedding, recharge your batteries and then you are ready for the excitement of a safari, which is something you will remember for the rest of your lives.
It is always advisable to plan well ahead. We tend to speak to clients around 12 to 18 months ahead of their travel date because even if flights have not been released, everything else can be booked and in most cases, prices can be fixed. This way you won’t be disappointed by missing out on what you want – especially some of those more romantic hideaways that have fewer rooms. All advance bookings can be secured by paying a deposit, which gives you plenty of time to plan and save.
Absolutely, this is exactly what we do for you once we have spent time discussing your thoughts and ideas. We work on putting an itinerary together based on what we have discussed and come up with a plan as close to your budget as possible. We will also give you alternative options, such as upgrading your rooms, hotels, or flights so you can see what you can get if you decide to spend a little more money – but only if you wish to do so. After all, it’s your honeymoon and you always have a choice!
Yes, we can custom a saving plan to fit your requirements and your money is always protected. We also offer a unique, award nominated gift list app called ‘Panndorah’ which can help pay towards the cost of your honeymoon. If you already live together, you probably don’t need the traditional wedding list items for your home. But how do you ask your guests to help pay for your honeymoon without offending them? Once your honeymoon is booked, we set up a list of items and extras that can help make your honeymoon extra special. Your family and friends can then buy these tangible items securely online – avoiding the awkwardness of asking for money as a wedding gift. The app monitors what funds you receive, you can view the message left for you and it gives you the opportunity to link into your socials and send a message/photo thanking your guests for the gift.

Booking yourself takes a lot of time, planning and effort and when you reserve flights accommodation, transfers etc. You don’t always know if you are dealing with a legitimate company either. You can also open a can of worms by booking things separately (as many experienced during covid) as you don’t get the same financial protection or back up service that you do get booking with us.
