The idea for the business was germinated (sorry for the pun!) when my niece, Rosie got married.
The reception was to be held at Seven Acres Nursery, where Posh Plants live!
To soften the whiteness of the marquee Rosie suggested we use some of the larger plants from the nursery. I was midway through designing the garden at Strattons Hotel in Swaffham and had some bay trees and olives waiting to be planted.
Positioned on the long, open side of the marquee the trees made a natural link between the reception party inside and the lovely Norfolk countryside outside.
The weather, the plants and the day were perfect!
So, over the weekend I began to think this could be an interesting progression for my business.
After many years of hard work Posh Plants has grown and we are now in demand to decorate weddings all over East Anglia, in lovely ancient buildings, barns and hotels to marquees and private gardens, they all really come alive with Posh Plants!
Green is definitely “cool”!
